I have had a lovely evening catching up on Fiction Express (it's been a busy week preparing for the book sale on Friday).  To be honest, I wasn't that interested in the Rise of the Rabbits story when I first started reading it but I'm glad I continued because now I'm hooked.  I never expected that Mr Lugs would talk! Can't wait to find out what his master plan is.  My Cousin Faustina had me gripped from the start and I was glad to see that the idea I voted for won.  Let me know what you think of the stories.

P.S. If any of my friends or family are reading this and are thinking of a present to get me - I'll have a custard cannon!

Sculpture of a million pencils!

I wanted to let you all know about an amazing (free) exhibition at the Central Library - made out of pencils!

For more information go to http://www.thefixmagazine.com/penvolution-bristol-central-library/    I am looking forward to going at the weekend (after I have recovered from all the dancing I'll be doing at Mama Africa at City Academy!).  The Central library is always a good place to visit if you are in town.  It is a beautiful building, over 100 years old,  there is a huge selection of books and (like all libraries) free internet access.

Fiction Express

Well done to all the KS2 children who read the first Fiction Express chapter online, I have really enjoyed chatting with so many of you about it.  I really liked the scary imagery in 'My Cousin Faustina' and I am looking forward to finding out more about Harvey and Lola in 'Rise of the Rabbits', they are great characters.  The authors will be busy now writing the next chapters ready for 3pm on Friday.  If you need to catch up go to http://schools.fictionexpress.co.uk/en/
